Subcategory 1 (EB21): Advanced Degree, Schedule A, Group I, Registered Nurse
REQUIREMENT 2. You offered job requires an Advanced Degree and Registered Nurse license in the state of intended employment.
Clarification 1. Advanced Degree is defined as a U.S. advanced degree or a foreign equivalent degree (or a baccalaureate degree plus at least five years of progressive work experience in the field).
Clarification 2. For an ordinary Registered Nurse position, an Advanced Degree is usually not required. However, it may be required for a Specialty Nurse, or a Supervisory Nurse.
Clarification 3. A Practical Nurse license does not meet the Registered Nurse license requirement.
