REQUIREMENT 1. You are a spouse, child, or parent of a deceased member of U.S. Armed Forces.

REQUIREMENT 2. If you are the spouse you are not remarried.

REQUIREMENT 3. Your deceased relative served honorably in an active duty status.

REQUIREMENT 4. Your deceased relative died as a result of injury or disease incurred in or aggravated by combat.

REQUIREMENT 5. Your deceased relative either: (a) was a U.S. citizen or (b) has been granted posthumous citizenship.

REQUIREMENT 6. You meet certain filing deadlines.
